What it is
Two factor authentication (2FA) is an extra layer of security that is industry standard and recommended to have turned on at all times. This means that besides your password you’ll need an extra code created by an authenticator app.
Who is it for
All users can enable 2FA. A platform administrator can set it to mandatory for all users.
How to enable two 2FA
- Log in to your account.
- Click on your avatar.
- Click on ‘My Profile‘.
- Go to ‘User details‘ and you will find ‘Two factor authentication‘. Click on ‘Enable‘.
- Click on ‘Confirm‘.
- 2FA is enabled. Click on ‘Ok‘.
- In order to make use of 2FA, you will need an authenticator app on your phone. You can download the Google or Microsoft authenticator app.
